Love it. The combo of a full frame camera and a sweet lens. I have the 24-105L but on a 50D. I have to use my 10-22 lens to get this look but the colors are not near as vibrant and it’s not as sharp. You make me jealous and want to buy a 5Dmk2. Good stuff. Thanks Matt – I only have the 5DMark1 – but one day!
Great foreground and background combination. Clouds are some of my favorite things to photograph and you’ve captured them beautifully here. I really, really like the tiny bit of cloud that’s reflected ahead of the water as well.
What I love about this shot is the darkness and sheen of the beach sand. You’ve captured such detail where the clouds are visible in the reflection off of the sand. Combine that with the detail in the ocean to the amazing colors in the sky portion, you’ve achieved a beautiful shot George.

I like this shot, the wave have a beautiful volume thanks to the reflex of the sky.
