My gravestone would never be so great, George, I’m afraid, but I would definitely want it to pierce the clouds! We were in a couple graveyards in France last week and LOVED what we saw.
I like the shot, is very imponent but is inevitable for me thinking in two alternatives. One is to make this shot with more contrast and, perhaps, only with silhouettes and second is to turn the camera to put the diagonal line of the bottom horizontal.

Those clouds are knockout. So cool. I like the way this is lit…..the near silhouette adds strength to image I believe. It’s nice.

Definetly looks as if it’s piercing the clouds! The angle this picture was taken from made it look very pleasing. MC :0)
