Today is my 100th posting so I felt it was time to try something a little different…
I was strolling on a small nearby beach one day when I was struck by the peculiar shape of some of the driftwood – probably Irish Ivy in which the stems have grown into each other. They intrigued me so I have used a few pieces as the basis of a photo minimalist essay.
The shape of the wood is a little sensual and perhaps somewhat anthropomorphic, but as William Shakespear wrote “Nothing is bad but they that thinketh and make it so…”
So, Georges, as you know I’m a fan of the fineness of your pictures, but now with this séries, I wish it will be your 100th posting each day
Great texture, great light, great realisation (my english is poor… For once, I will try to explain it in french Incroyables tonalité et matière. Super boulot !

Perfectly composed shot – less is (usually) more in my book.

Nice shot. Great shaped wood. It’s got a very human look to it.

There’s a saying in Dutch, “A dirty mind is a joy forever and a pretty girl is a toy forever.”
Actually, what I first saw was a man rescuing a damsel in distress. I love it.
