The Languedoc...
We are delighted to present our digital photography workshop structured specifically for novice photographers.

We have taken full advantage of the central position of our accommodation located in the photogenic Languedoc region in the south of France. Our itinerary gives novice photographers the opportunity to learn a number of different photographic styles, under tuition.

The locations feature spectacular mountains and gorges, along with ancient villages clinging precariously to the side of cliffs and atmospheric old fishing harbours...photographs of some of the locations can be seen in the Languedoc Gallery...or in a five minute video on YouTube that can be seen by clicking HERE.
But we have also kept in mind that it's a holiday and have included a couple of days for relaxation. Click HERE for full details of the novice itinerary.

The Workshop...
The group leader - George Munday - is an enthusiastic and experienced professional photographer. His weekend workshops have given him a clear understanding of the problems that novice photographers encounter and he is firmly committed to individual instruction in the field; the reason why the number of places is limited.

The first day will be spent learning basic camera skills and techniques of digital photography, and three days will be spent shooting on location. During the evening we'll include critiques, talks about composition and how your photographs can be further improved - and hands-on Photoshop tutoring. And we've set aside two days for relaxation or some additional photography for those who would like to keep on shooting.

The Accommodation...
Ventenac Villa (right), about 250 years old and completely renovated and furnished, is located in the village of Ventenac-en-Minervois, about 10 kilometres west of Narbonne.

The house is entered through a large iron gate which opens to an enclosed courtyard, where we can dine al fresco; it also features a new elevated swimming pool.

There are six bedrooms and 3 bathrooms upstairs, so we can guarantee your own room. Downstairs is open and airy and has a kitchen with a large fireplace, along with sitting and living areas.
