Q&A
Most of the additional questions about the workshops are answered below; but if you need additional information please call or email us via the contact page.

- Radharc Álainn
Which means "Beautiful View" ( and pronounced rye-ark all-in) is the location of Copper Coast Workshops. We have three guest rooms, two doubles and a twin, so we can take a maximum of 6 guests at any one time, 3 if single rooms are required.
- What does the price include?
Ensuite accommodation and all meals consisting of two breakfasts, two light lunches, two dinners and snacks. It also includes photographic tuition during the tours and in the use of Adobe Photoshop.
- What are the arrival and departure times?
We welcome our guests from 4.30 pm on Friday, with dinner usually served at 7.30. The course normally finishes around 4.30 on Sunday evening, after the final digital sessions are completed. Guests who wish to stay on for
a day or two following the workshops are more than welcome to do so, just talk to George for further details.
- Meals...
are developed and cooked by Cherill, from delicious traditional recipes, using organic, locally grown produce when available and served round our large dining table in a very friendly environment.
Vegetarians and those with special dietary needs can be catered for if we are given prior notice, please let us know when booking.
- Facilities...
Each room is ensuite and features TV, DVD, hairdryer, coffee and tea-making facilities. We also have a drying room available in the unlikely event that it rains -
but it's a fairly rare occurrence in the south-east - widely accepted as the sunniest part of Ireland.
- Non-photographing partners...
Partners of photographers who aren't interested in the workshops are always welcome. We have a guide of things to do locally including golf, canoeing, sea-fishing, walking, shopping and special interests
like geology and bird watching. Or guests can relax in our sheltered south facing patio or wander down to nearby Ballydowane Cove.
