The Art Hand Workshops

The End of an Old Era...
After six years, Copper Coast Workshops are no more.
It's been a rewarding experience to share our home with many visiting photo-graphers. They have come from many different countries, North America to Africa,
Spain to Germany and their time here has been enjoyable and inspirational.
So why stop? Well, there's a lot of time-consuming background work behind the workshops, we're not getting any younger and it just seemed the right time - so
the 2011 workshops were the last. Cherill and I would however, like to take the opportunity to thank all the guests that made the workshops such an enjoyable
experience.
But it's not the end of photography workshops on the Copper Coast, nor is it the end of my involvement in photography workshops.
..And the Start of a New One...
Beginning in April 2012, I will be the Photographic Tutor at The Art Hand, those new to my work can see my
profile here
The Art Hand is a new concept in workshops, where the organisers, Sean and Miranda Corcoran, both full-time professional artists, have brought together a team of talented tutors
to create challenging workshops. The courses, which include stained glass, painting, digital art, and digital photography are held in The Art Hand's purpose-built studios, located
just beyond the atmospheric cliff-top ruins of the copper mine in the Copper Coast Geopark. A selection of my images of the Copper Coast and nearby surroundings can be
seen here
Details of The Art Hand's Workshops, can be seen here
And my portfolio and photoblog can still be seen here
